Barbeque Bonanza Returns

Smells of barbecued food and sounds of children’s laughter will be at River View Park on Saturday for the eighth annual Buellton Barbecue Bonanza.

The barbecue, which is put together by Buellton officials and staff members, provides a way for people to meet neighbors and catch up with old friends. The festivities will be from noon to 2 p.m., with several bands playing and demonstrations provided for entertainment.

The city will provide free tri-tip sandwiches and hot dogs as well as beverages, but people are encouraged to bring a side dish to the potluck.
